Jen’s Scripture Devotion

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

Never too broken for God to use

There was a time in my life when I believed the pain I had endured would define me forever. I thought the trauma, abuse, and brokenness of my past had stolen any chance of a future filled with hope. I believed the lies that said I was too damaged, too far gone, and too broken for God to use.

But God had another plan.

Jeremiah 29:11 became a reminder to me that my story did not end in the darkness of what happened to me. God had a purpose beyond my pain. He was not finished with me, and He is not finished with you.

What the enemy meant to destroy me, God has redeemed for His glory. The very places where I was wounded became the places where God began to heal, restore, and rebuild my life.

If you are walking through pain today, please hear this: your past does not disqualify you from God’s promises. Your trauma does not cancel your purpose. God still has a plan for your life—a plan filled with hope, healing, and restoration.

With Love, Jennifer
