“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17
For many of us, it is easier to believe that God tolerates us than to believe He truly delights in us.
When your life has been marked by pain, rejection, abuse, or shame, it can be difficult to imagine a God who not only saves you—but rejoices over you. A God who sees every scar, every struggle, every part of your story, and still calls you beloved.
But that is exactly who He is.
Zephaniah 3:17 reminds us that God is not distant or detached. He is near. He is fighting for you. He is covering you in love. And even more beautiful—He delights in you with joy.
You are not merely rescued and then forgotten. You are cherished. Celebrated. Loved deeply by the One who created you.
Let that truth settle into your heart today: the God of heaven is not ashamed of you. He sings over you with love.

PRAYER
Lord, help me believe that You do not just love me—you delight in me. Heal the places in my heart that struggle to receive Your love, and remind me that I am fully known, fully loved, and fully Yours. In JESUS NAME, AMEN
